PLAIN TOWNSHIP -- A search for a missing swimmer at a Plain Township swimming spot was suspended late Thursday night.
Crews suspended the search shortly after midnight and resumed early Friday morning.
The body of Brian Horne, 19, was recovered at noon Friday.
Horne's body was taken to the Stark County Coroner's office for an autopsy. This appears to be a drowning and no foul play is suspected.
Emergency workers were called to the former quarry when one swimmer lost track of Horne around 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
A total of six divers searched the man-made lake called Central Lake behind a wooded area off Middlebranch Road.
Rescue crews from Plain Township, Green Township, Coventry Township and the Stark County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
