General Motors is recalling nearly 250,000 SUV's due to a fire risk. The vehicles could have a short circuit in the power window and lock controls in the drivers side door that can result in a fire. The recall includes 2006 and 2007 models of the Chevy Trailblazer, Buick Rainier, GMC Envoy, Saab 9-7X, and Isuzu ascender. The reason why Ohio drivers should be especially cautious is because the salty water from road salt can cause corrosion leading to the short circuit.

Are you already thinking about holiday shopping? Walmart says they are. They had such a high demand for layaway during last year's christmas shopping season that it's expanding the interest-free, pay-over-time program. This year it will last a month longer and include more items than just toys and electronics. The program starts September 16 and ends December 14.

A recent survey by consumer reports found 52 percent of people are watching movies through streaming video. This is prompting companies like Netflix and Amazon to offer more and more services. Consumers said their one complaint is finding the movie they want immediately.
