CARLISLE TOWNSHIP -- Crews in Carlisle Township have removed a vehicle from a building that stores natural gas equipment.
The building, owned by Columbia Gas, is situated on Middle Avenue.
The vehicle was driving northbound on Middle Avenue and attempted to jump over railroad tracks at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle went air born at least 40 feet, veering left. The car went thru a chain link fence and crashed into a cinder block building where natural gas equipment is stored.
Four people were in the car. Two were taken away by LifeFligt, and two were taken to area hospitals.
The fire department decided that an evacuation order was not necessary. The area is mostly rural.
