YOUNGSTOWN -- A man has been sentenced to 92 years in prison for a shooting at a Youngstown State University fraternity house that left one man dead and 11 others wounded in 2011.

The Vindicator reports that 23-year-old Columbus Jones Jr. was sentenced Thursday after a jury convicted him of murder and other charges.

Prosecutors say Jones left a frat party after an argument on Feb. 6, 2011, then came back with a gun and started shooting. Police say Youngstown State senior Jamail Johnson was killed while trying to usher a group of partygoers away from the gunfire and out of harm's way.

Several others were charged in connection with the shooting and are still facing trial.
