CLEVELAND -- A man was rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard Sunday afternoon after a boater spotted him in the Cuyahoga River near Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica.
Around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, the U.S. Coast Guard received a call about a man who needed rescuing from the Cuyahoga River.
Cleveland EMS, Fire, and the U.S. Coast Guard responded to the scene.
According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the good Samaritan who spotted the man and notified officials was a big help in the rescue.
The man was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.
It is unknown why the man was in the water.
