1 pkg boneless chicken breasts, cubed
1 stick butter
1 medium onion, diced
1/4 cup fresh thyme
1 pkg cream cheese - 8 ounces
2 tubes crescent rolls
Your favorite croutons, crushed
In a large skillet, melt half a stick butter and bring to medium heat. Add chicken. Season with salt pepper & thyme. Once chicken is almost done, add onion. Cook another 5 minutes or until the onion is tender. Add cream cheese. Stir, blending until you have a creamy chicken mixture. Turn off the heat.
Melt the rest of your butter in a separate pan. Turn off the heat and toss the crushed croutons in the butter to coat.
To assemble: take a square of crescent roll dough... Pinching the seam together. Each tube will make 4 pockets!
Put a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square. Pull up each corner of the square, pinching and sealing to form your pocket.
Top with the buttered croutons.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes and serve!!
Holy yummy! All you need is a salad or veggie on the side! Xo
