MIDDLEFIELD TWP -- A 4-month-old was flown to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital after an Amish buggy crash Thursday night.
The Chardon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol tells Channel 3 News they are investigating an Amish buggy accident Thursday night.
The Amish buggy was southbound on the right shoulder, right of the marked fog line.
A 70-year-old man from Bedford was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer south on State Route 528.
The 70-year-old failed to maintain his lane of travel, went over the fog painted line, and hit the left rear and left side of the Amish buggy.
The 4-month-old was ejected from the buggy and then flown to the hospital.
Alcohol was not a factor. The crash is still under investigation.
