SOUTH EUCLID -- Police confirm that the mini-poodle, "Teddy," taken from his owner's car in a Beachwood Place parking garage Aug. 17, has been found.

According to the owner's friends and multiple Facebook posts Sunday afternoon, Teddy was found wandering in Cleveland Heights Saturday and returned to owner Laura Sears, of South Euclid.

Teddy is a six and a half-year-old cream-colored, neutered male poodle who weighs 10 pounds. Before he was returned, Teddy was last seen wearing a striped collar with a peace sign nametag.

Beachwood police say Teddy was taken sometime between 12:15 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. Aug. 17 from her car parked in the lower level Nordstrom parking garage near the south entrance.

On Facebook, Sears' friend Barry Gabel wrote "Thank you to all that posted Teddy's all my media friends that interviewed everyone that sent good vibes to Laura and Teddy. IT WORKED...."

Gabel wrote that the person who found Teddy in Cleveland Heights "contacted Laura Sears and Teddy is back home."
