ROCY RIVER -- Police here warn residents in several neighborhoods to lock their cars as thieves have been stealing from unlocked cars.
Their message is basically -- Lock it or lose it.
Police say it is always a good idea to lock your car but thieves have bee especially active in the Lakeview, Hampton, Westmoor, West Wagar Circle and South Bend neighborhoods.
Police say thieves are looking for unlocked cars with items in plain view.
