Cleveland: 1 dead, 1 at hospital after eastside shooting

CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Police were at East 156th Street and Damon Avenue where 2 people were shot Monday night.

Witnesses tell Channel 3 News everything started unfolding shortly before 9 p.m. Monday night.

A 20-year-old man has died at MetroHealth Medical Center. A second shooting victim is recovering at the hospital. The second victim was taken to the hospital by private auto.

Police continue their investigation. There are witness reports that 3 suspects were chasing the victims firing at them.
