TOLEDO -- Three California men are being held in the Lucas County Jail after troopers say they found 65 pounds of marijuana in their car during a traffic stop on the Ohio Turnpike.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers stopped the 2012 Honda Civic for following too close to another car on September 18. A search of the car revealed the pot in vacuum sealed packages hidden in the bumper and door panels.
The street value of the drugs is estimated at $416,000.
The three men are facing felony drug charges that could bring 16 years in prison if convicted.
