CHARDON -- Geauga County Sheriff Dan McClelland says alleged Chardon school shooter T.J. Lane was moved to the Geauga County Safety Center Monday.

He arrived about 10 a.m.

Lane turned 18 last week and had been held in a juvenile detention center. He was ordered to be transferred to an adult detention facility.

An order by Geauga County Common Pleas Judge David Fuhry had Lane moved.

The request to Fuhry was made by the Portage-Geauga Detention Center, which is where he has been held since his arrest.

Lane is accused of killing three students and injuring two others during a shooting at Chardon High School Feb. 27.

His motive for the shooting still has not been revealed.
