PAINESVILLE -- Police say the school resource officer inside Harvey High School had to taser an unruly student Monday afternoon.
Police say the SRO was called to assist with an unruly 17-year-old boy at Harvey High School.
"During the course of the investigation, the officer had to utilize his department-issued taser in order to take the (boy) into custody," the police statement reads.
The boy was later released to his parents.
Police say charges will be handled through the Lake County Juvenile Court.
