MENTOR -- Fire crews have been called to the site of the new Melt location under construction in Mentor.

We're told there are reports of a fire in the duct work at the Points East Plaza located at Route 306 and Mentor Avenue.

The former Jalapeno Loco is being converted into a Melt Bar & Grilled at that location.  The restaurant was expected to open in Mid-October.

There's no word on whether the fire will impact the opening.

There are no reports of injuries.
