CLEVELAND -- A busy morning for Cleveland firefighters as they battled multiple fires.
Just before 6 a.m., firefighters were called to Urbana Road where three commercial buildings were on fire.
A department spokesman says the building where the fire started housed a plate processing plant. The fire then spread to two connecting buildings. Firefighters had the fires under control within 45 minutes.
Shortly thereafter, the spokesman says firefighters were called to another fire, across the railroad tracks from the first location on Urbana. In this second fire, a vacant building at Rudyard and Kipling was damaged.
The fires remain under investigation.
