CLEVELAND -- The Ohio Department of Transportation says the I-71/SR 176 southbound ramp to I-490 eastbound has reopened.
The ramp had to be closed during morning rush hour after a crash involving multiple vehicles.
Cleveland Police say a slippery substance spilled on the freeway causing the pileup. A least six vehicles were involved in the crash reported around 7:30 a.m.
Police notified crews from ODOT to clean up the substance.
It is not clear what might have spilled on the highway. No injuries were reported.
