CLEVELAND -- Cleveland School officials were able to see firsthand more state report card data today.
As expected, the district is in academic emergency and could face falling under an academic distress commission's control.
It would oversee how the district improves its academics and graduation rate. This has not been done yet and it's possible the Cleveland Plan that was signed into law by Governor John Kasich could prevent such state oversight.
All of this might muddy the waters for voters in the Issue 107 debate.
