Lance Armstrong has been stripped of his record seven Tour de France victories and banned from competitive cycling for life. The International Cycling Union announced Monday that it was ratifying the U.S. Anti-doping Agency's sanctions against Armstrong, effectively ending his involvement in the sport forever. The U.S. Anti-doping Agency charged Armstrong with "the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program the sport has ever seen."

A tire left a hole in a one-story building in Philadelphia. At first thought, you'd think it fell off a plane, but the Philadelphia airport confirms the tire did not come from a plane. It turns out the tire came from a truck that hit a car and the tire bounced high enough to slam through the roof of the building.
