CLEVELAND -- Overnight storm damage is affecting RTA travel around Greater Cleveland this morning.
Eight stranded passengers were safely escorted off of a Rapid train just east of the Brookpark Station after an overhead wire was down on the eastbound track.
A fallen tree made hit the overhead wire on the rapid line in West Park overnight. Shuttles will run from West 117th Street to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
Rapid trains are back in operation after high water on the tracks stopped them earlier.
No reported delays. Service started on time. Expect weather-related delays.
Power is out at the rapid stations at W. 117th Street, E. 79th Street and E. 105th Street, but the doors to the platform are open and RTA Police are monitoring them.
All bus routes are seeing delays from downed wires and trees around the area.
