Northeast Ohio: List of road, street closings

• Ashtabula County: Route 6 in Hartsgrove closed due to a downed tree

• Bedford Heights: Aurora Road at Rockside Road closed due to wires down.

• Brecksville: Valley Parkway, Chippewa Creek, Vaughn Road, and Whitewood Road from Route 21 to Mill Road and Wallings Road from Route 21 to I-77 and Highland Road closed.

• Broadview Heights: Avery at Woodmere is closed due to downed downed wires. Edgerton Road also closed.

• Brook Park: Sheldon Road closed at Abrams Creek due to flooding.

• Brooklyn: Biddulph Road closed between Ridge and Roadoan due to eight power poles being down.

Cleveland:  Brookpark Road to the airport is closed.  Police advise using Engle Road to Snow or I-71 to the airport.  Route 237 to Brookpark is also inaccessible.

• Cleveland - The East 9th Street entrance ramp to I-77 southbound is closed due to high water. Motorists can use Broadway Avenue to enter I-77 southbound.

• Cleveland East: MLK closed at Wade Park

• Cleveland Heights: North Park flooded

• Cleveland: Power outage impacting following intersections:: W. 140th & Lorain, East 55th & St. Clair, and E. 30th and St. Clair. Some trees are down blocking roadways.

• Cleveland: W. 81st/Madison Trees down. No power.

• Cleveland: West 150th FLOODED - impassable under RR tracks (north of Brook Park Rd)

• Cuyahoga Heights: Canal Road, Tinkers Creek, and Schreiber Road closed due to flooding and/or downed power lines.

• Cuyahoga: Shoreway REOPENED both ways between East 55th and Innerbelt Curve.

• Fairview Park: Mastick Road in the Metroparks and Mastick Road between W. 227 and Clague both due to downed wires.

• Gates Mills: River Road between Berkshire and Deerfield closed due to flooding.

• Lake County: Vrooman Road closed in Leroy Township

• Lakewood: Clifton Blvd CLOSED at Granger Ave. Many trees down.

• Lorain: SR 303 west of SR 301 in LaGrange closed due to a downed tree.

• Lyndhurst- Cedar west of Richmond closed near Legacy Village due to downed power lines

• Medina County: I-71 southbound between I-76/US 224 and SR 83 interchanges closed due to crash. (Near Lodi) All southbound lanes closed. Detour posted.

• Medina County: Route 252 (Columbia Road) and Route 57 north of Route 18 closed due to flooding.

• North Olmsted: Clague is closed between Lorain and Brookpark due to wires/trees down.

• North Randall: Emery closed between Warrensville Center and Northfield.

• North Royalton: Ridge Road between Boston and Cady, Edgerton Road between Ridge and Bennett, Abbey road between Albion and Spring closed due to wires and trees down.

  • Parma:  As of 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, electricity has been restored to the Parma Justice Center, which was closed for the day. Regency Drive between Powers Blvd and Ridgewood Drive is now open. Rockside Road east of Broadview Road remains closed due to a large tree on power lines.
  • Parma: York Road at Kader Drive  now REOPENED after a fallen tree was on power lines.

• Parma Heights: Rangers have Big Creek Parkway closed between Snow and Creekhaven.

• Sagamore Hills: Dunham Road and Sagamore Road closed due to downed wires.

• Seven Hills: Rockside Road covered with debris and should be avoided. Crossview Road is closed due to downed wires.

• Shaker Heights: No power in the area of Shaker and Warrensville.

• South Euclid: Cedar Road closed between Richmond and Green

• STRONGSVILLE: the traffic light in Strongsville is completely out at Pearl Road and 82/Royalton Road at the intersection

• Strongsville: The traffic light in Strongsville is completely out at Pearl Road and 82/Royalton Road at the intersection

• Warrensville Heights: Green Road closed between Emery and Miles due to wires down.

• West Cleveland: Traffic lights on West Blvd are out at Western, Madison, Detroit & Clifton

• Westlake: Crocker and Detroit. All lights out.

• Willowick: Lakeshore Boulevard is closed between E. 305th and Vine Street due to a leaning power pole.
