Superstorm Sandy: How you can help

Superstorm Sandy has left a trail of destruction across more than a dozen states, including Ohio.

Below is a list of resources for how you can help storm victims.

 

How you can help:

Various non-profit organizations are accepting monetary donations to help the victims of the storm, including those here in Northeast Ohio.

You can make a $10 donation to the following via text message. Your carrier will charge the donations to your next bill.

• STORM to 80888 to give to the Salvation Army
• HUMANE to 80888 for the American Humane Association
• RECOVERY to 52000 for the United Way Sandy Recovery Fund

Donate Blood:

Superstorm Sandy forced the cancelation of 3 blood drives in Northeast Ohio. Now that the storm has passed the Red Cross is asking eligible donors to give.
