CLEVELAND -- Sunday night, school officials said all power has been restored to Cleveland Metropolitan School District buildings.
District Communications Officer Roseann Canfora says that as many as 24 schools were closed last week due to outages caused by the remnants of Hurricane Sandy. All will be open on Monday.
According to a Sunday evening press release from FirstEnergy, 3,100 CEI customers are still without power across northeast Ohio.
They are on pace to have a majority of those customers restored by Monday night.
On the East coasy, more than 472,000 FirstEnergy customers are still without power as of Saturday. Nearly 2 million customers have already had their power restored.
