A California man is facing felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol Troopers seized 186 pounds of marijuana and prescription drugs during a traffic stop on the Turnpike in Erie County.
Troopers say the drugs had a street value of more than $425,000.
Troopers pulled over the cargo van for following too close to another car on November 6. A search of the van turned up 123 vacuum sealed packages of pot weighing approximately 186 pounds. Troopers also found 24 oxycodone tablets and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, Roy Glisson, 33, of Santa Rosa, California, is in the Erie County Jail charged with possession and trafficking in marijuana. He faces up to 16 years in prison and a $30,000 fine if convicted.
