CLEVELAND -- More than 100,000 men, women and children in need will have holiday meals this season thanks to Charter One's Carving Out Hunger initiative.

The initiative this year will provide $75,000 to the Cleveland Foodbank to pay for 112,640 meals.

Charter One volunteers, including President Ken Marblestone, kicked off this year's Carving Out Hunger campaign by helping to repack food and load trucks for local food pantries at the Foodbank.

Over the past eight years, the Carving Out Hunger program has helped provide more than $580,000 and 380 tons of food to area food relief agencies.
