AKRON -- Although classes were not in session at Roswell Kent Middle School on Thanksgiving morning, three teens (ages 13, 16 and 17) allegedly broke in and stole multiple items.

According to Akron Police, the trio used a brick and broke out a rear window before entering the building at 1445 Hammel Street around 9:40 a.m.

Once inside, police say the suspects broke out the fire extinguishers and used them to get inside a classroom on the second floor in which they took 11 iPads and four HP laptop computers.

Police say the suspects also sprayed the classroom with a fire extinguisher before fleeing the building.

All three suspects were later located in the 900 block of Barbara Avenue and placed in the custody of the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.

The stolen items have been returned to the school.
