Parma: Attempted abduction in Tri-C parking lot

PARMA, Ohio -- A man tried to abduct a female student in a parking lot at the Cuyahoga Community College West Campus in Parma Tuesday evening, campus officials say.

At about 5:20 p.m., a man in his 20s attempted to abduct the student in Lot C.

Police say the suspect is a white man in his early to late 20s, about 5-foot-11, with a heavy build, weighing about 175 to 200 pounds, wearing a black jacket with a hoodie and blue jeans.

The victim last saw the suspect leaving the campus and driving toward York Road in a dark green, two-door car.

It is unclear if the victim suffered any injuries.

Police presence on campus has been increased following this incident, officials said.

Other nearby police departments have been notified to be on the lookout for the suspect and his vehicle.
