CLEVELAND -- A 16-year-old dies after being shot multiple times.
Around 6 p.m. Thursday, Cleveland Police were called to 3462 East 140th Street for reports of someone shot.
When police arrived, they found a 16-year-old shot many times in the apartment bedroom.
EMS pronounced the teen dead at the scene.
Police tell Channel 3 News that witnesses saw the 16-year-old being pursued by the shooter outside of the apartment. They both entered and the suspect shot the teen many times.
Witnesses describe the shooter as:
- black
- late teens/early 20's
- wearing a blue jumpsuit and grey hoodie
- armed with a black 9mm handgun
