The 80-year-old Olmsted Falls woman who struck and killed Charlie Kho in Olmsted Township Oct. 17, 2011, pleaded no contest today and was found guilty of 1 count of vehicular homicide, 1 count of failure to stop after an accident, and 1 count of tampering with evidence.
Helen Fettes is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 14.

Kho was walking down Cook Road when he was struck. He died about 3 p.m. Oct. 18, 2011, his 13th birthday. He had been passing out invitations to his birthday party.

While police were searching for the hit-and-run driver after the crash, an employee at the Ganley Automotive Body Shop called police to report a car with similar damage.
The employee said Fettes brought in her car for body work and insisted on paying without reporting it to her insurance company.
