CANTON -- Police are investigating the suspicious death of a toddler.
Canton Police say Serenity Jordan, an 18-month-old girl, was found unresponsive just before 6 a.m. Friday morning.
The child lived at 503 11th Street NW and was taken to Mercy Medical Center.
She was then sent to Akron Children's Hospital where she died at 7:20 p.m.
Detectives have arrested Burt Kelly, 24, and charged him with child endangering. He is being held at Stark County Jail on a $2 million bond.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death additional charges are expected.
