NEWARK, Ohio -- A 16-year-old Licking County girl ran away with her 10-day-old baby early Sunday morning, police said.
Monday afternoon, police say the child and the mother have been located and both are now in custoday.
Donnielle Owens took her 10-day-old baby in a taxi from Columbus to Newark, Ohio at about 12 a.m. Sunday. She was last seen at 3 a.m. when she was dropped off at 44 South Terrace Avenue and ran from the cab driver.
Owens is 5 feet tall, 107 pounds, African American with brown hair, black eyes. Police did not have a description of what she was wearing.
The baby girl, Raydreonna A. Moorfield, is about one foot, 10 pounds, African American, with black hair and brown eyes. No clothing description was available.
