AKRON -- A man was stabbed in the arm and another was robbed of his pants on Saturday in two separate incidents.

Authorities learned of the first crime after a 22-year-old man arrived at Akron General Medical Center around 6 a.m. with a knife stuck in his upper right arm.

According to Akron Police, the man said he was at Madison Avenue and Work Drive when a fight broke out and an unknown person came up from behind and stabbed him.

The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in this incident.

The second incident happened around 4 p.m. Saturday when a 20-year-old man was robbed of his pants, hat and boots outside a home in the 600 block of Russell Avenue.

According to Akron Police, the victim said he was walking along the street when the suspects approached him in a car. The driver reportedly pulled up next to him and asked if they went to school together.  That's when passengers allegedly got out of the vehicle and asked the victim if he had any money.

The suspects then started punching and hitting the victim before taking his hat, pants and boots, according to police.

All four suspects then fled the scene in a four-door, navy blue Chevy Impala.
