CLEVELAND -- A man was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital Monday morning.

Cleveland Police tell Channel 3 the man was shot in the leg and taken from 2100 Lakeside Men's Homeless Shelter to MetroHealth Medical Center. The man was not shot in the shelter but in another location.

Police are investigating the shooting happened before 1:30 a.m.
