CHARDON -- The spokesman for the Geauga County Sheriff's Department tells Channel 3 that the body of Gino Tamburro, 17, missing since Tuesday, has been found near the trailer park where he was last seen in a wooded area.
His body was in the woods at Mountain Run Station on the Maple Highlands Trail, located at 12601 Chardon Windsor Road in Hambden Township.
The Geauga County Coroner's Office will determine the cause of death.
Independent sources say that it appears that Tamburro's death is a probable suicide.
Geauga County deputies, friends and a helicopter from University Hospitals had been searching for him. His body was spotted by Sheriff Dan McClelland in the helicopter at 11:47 a.m.
He was last seen Tuesday.
Gino was supposed to walk from his father's mobile home to his mother's mobile home Tuesday at 6 p.m. He never made it. Gino left behind his wallet, cellphone, and iPod. There did not appear to be any family problems at all.
