CLEVELAND -- Officers waste no time on a virtual simulator, learning the correct way to handle day-to-day situations.

"I look at it and I see a lot of different things that we actually see on the streets," says Cleveland Police Lt. Brandon Kutz.

The officers even prepare for a worst-case scenario, like a school shooting.

"I wanted to take training, especially advanced training, out to officers all over the state," said Attorney General Mike DeWine, who brought the simulators to Cleveland.

The training didn't stop at learning how to use a weapon.

This was the first time a driving simulator has been brought to Cleveland, helping officers save lives when they are on the street.

"They are very real. It's very scary when you are there, and if I were the police officer, I would be scared," DeWine added.
