FBI and the Bedford Heights police arrest Brandon Laster, a suspect in several bank robberies.
On Wednesday, Laster, 30, was arrested by the FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force and the Bedford Heights Police Department pursuant to a federal probation violation and arrest warrants for bank robbery issued by the Bedford Heights Police Department.
Laster was located after an anonymous tip was provided to the investigative team on Dec. 12.
Laster was arrested without incident.
A federal complaint was filed Thursday and Laster was transferred over to federal custody. Laster is accused of robbing four Cleveland area banks.
Those banks are:
- PNC Bank, 2233 Warrensville Center Road on Oct. 30
- Huntington Bank, 1865 Coventry Road on Nov. 18
- Dollar Bank, 6563 Brecksville Road on Nov. 26
- Chase Bank, 5435 Northfield Road on Dec. 11
