CLEVELAND -- It's time to get revved up car fans. Registration has opened for the Cleveland Auto Show's 15th Annual Classic Car Competition.

To register, the car must be 25 years or older, approved by the show management and may not be offered up for sale. A picture must be provided even if you have been invited to the competition in the past.

"This should be one of the most spectacular and memory-provoking displays of cars that we have had in a long time," said Karen Ford, manager of the classic car competition. "We are really taking into consideration that this is the 15th Annual Classic Car Competition, so we are trying to make sure that this Competition represents the very best of the classic cars in northeast Ohio."
Registration is open until Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.

There is no fee to register.
Judging will take place during the Cleveland Auto Show with prizes awarded on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Prizes include $1,000 cash to the "Car of the Show" with $200 cash going to the next top-five vehicles.
The Cleveland Auto Show races into the I-X Center in 2013 from Saturday, Feb. 23 through Sunday, March 3.
The event will feature more than 1,000 new vehicles, family friendly entertainment and celebrity guests, among other things.
