Sheriffs in Huron, Summit, Wayne, Portage, Fairfield and Lorain counties have declared a ''Snow Emergency' and say driving is hazardous.
They advise everyone to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.
Blowing and drifting snow has reduced visibility.
