The Cleveland Browns continued their head coaching search by talking to Syracuse University's Doug Marrone.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen first reported the story.

Marrone just finished his fourth season at Syracuse with a win over West Virginia in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.  He has an overall record of 25-25 at SU.

The 48-year old also has NFL experience with the New Orleans Saints.  He served as the offensive coordinator from 2006-2008.

Multiple media outlets are reporting the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles are also interested in Marrone.

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and CEO Joe Banner are in Arizona and believed to be ready to talk to Oregon head coach Chip Kelly on Friday.
