AKRON -- Police arrested a man in a stolen car while his two children were sleeping in the back seat without seatbelts or in car seats.
Police say they arrested Akili Woodard, 23, of Akron, driving a stolen vehicle with a suspended driver's license. His two underage children were sleeping in the back seat but neither was strapped into a car seat.
Woodard is charged with receiving stolen property and child endangering.
Police also arrested Jazmen N. Davis, 22, a passenger in the vehicle, and charged her with receiving stolen property and child endangering.
