AKRON -- A 14-year-old girl who has accused a police officer of breaking her arm in an altercation at school last fall has been charged with the assault of a teacher and student in a separate incident.

Police say at around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, the teen was arrested in connection with an incident at Litchfield Middle School.

According to police, the teen, was observed to be chasing a 12-year-old boy down a hall and threw a notebook at him. When the notebook missed the mark, the teen chased the boy into a classroom where a teacher was knocked over in an attempt to help the boy being chased.

No injuries were reported.
