EASTLAKE -- Police were called just after 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 34000 block of Glen Drive where they were told someone entered through an unlocked bedroom window and swiped a handgun and a PS3.
During the inevstigation, the names of two suspects were discussed and they were picked up and taken to the police station.
After further questioning, police charged Rico Aponte, 22, of Eastlake with burglary, theft of a firearm and having weapons under disability. He is being held without bond until his court appearance.
Detectives were able to recover the handgun that was tracked to North Olmsted.
The other suspect was not involved in the burglary but was held on an outstanding failure to appear warrant through Willoughby Municipal Court as well as having drug paraphernalia. He is also being held until he makes bond.
