CLEVELAND --  Many people are busy packing their bags as last minute preps are underway for Monday's Inauguration celebrations.

An estimated 800,000 people are expected to attend. Some Northeast Ohioans are even gearing up to make the trip.

Joann Pitts is one of them.

Four years ago, when the President was first sworn into office, she made the trip.

"We got all the way into the monument area and it was cut off. It was a humungous crowd," said Pitts. She ended up turning around and coming back to Ohio.

This year she plans to get a front row seat. For Pitts, the inauguration is made extra special by the fact that Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

And for the first time, his monument will stand as the centuries-old celebration takes place.

"When you think back, MLK said that, one day, we'd have an African American President and we do. For a second term," said Pitts.

And while many more won't make the journey, Pitts only hopes that everyone use the day as a time to come together and reflect.
