EAST CLEVELAND -- An East Cleveland Municipal Court judge is personally helping his city's senior citizens through this stretch of below freezing temperatures and lake effect snow.
Judge William Dawson, his bailiffs and several community service workers took to East Cleveland's streets armed with shovels to help clear driveways and sidewalks for senior citizens who may otherwise have been unable to do so.
"The last thing I want is one our seniors to get out and try to shovel their snow and suffering injury or heart attack," said Judge Dawson. "It's the least we can do to help those who have paved the way for us. I do this in honor of my late mother."
