SANDUSKY TOWNSHIP -- The driver of a pick-up truck is dead and a passenger badly injured after colliding with a semi-truck at an intersection early this morning.
According to troopers, the investigation shows that the pick-up truck driver, Daniel J. Magers Jr. appears to have missed a stop sign at the intersection of County Road 128 and U.S. 20 colliding with the westbound semi-truck.
The impact threw Magers and a passenger, Shannon M. Mcgrew, from the truck. Mcgrew has been taken by air ambulance to a hospital in Toledo where her condition is not known.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
