CLEVELAND -- Police say two victims raped Jan. 29 and Jan. 30, respectively, said their rapist recorded the rapes with some device.
A 34-year-old victim reported being raped on Jan. 29 about 5 a.m. near W. 72nd Street and Snyder Avenue. The police report stated she was walking to catch the bus when a man pulled up alongside her in a gold, mid-sized vehicle, pointed a gun at her and ordered her to get in the car.
Police said the man drove the victim to W. 69th Street and Denison Avenue where he reportedly raped her.
While the rape was ongoing, the victim said the man told her to "look at the light and turn her head" because he was recording her with a phone or a camera.
In the police reoport, it reads that the man told the victim he picks up women all the time in the Lorain Avenue area and shot one in the leg who didn't listen.
The next day, another police report was filed regarding a woman, 20, who told police that about 9:15 p.m. Jan. 30, she was walking home from the store in the area of Whitmore Avenue when she heard someone running behind her.
The woman turned and found a gun pointed at her head. The man allegedly made the woman walk at gunpoint to a vacant dark field where he then raped her, police said.
During the incident, the suspect told her to turn around and pulled out a white iPhone to record the crime.
The victim was told to look up towards the camera during the sex crime, the police report read.
