CLEVELAND -- A missing 76-year-old Cleveland woman has been found after going missing around 6:45 p.m. Thursday, police said.
She was safely returned to her group home on Forest Avenue in Cleveland early Friday morning.
Officials said she is a black female, about 5-foot-5, 165 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a teal knee-length sweater, blue jeans and a knit hat.
Powell is known to suffer from dementia and other medical conditions. She is believed to be traveling on foot.
Powell may be armed, so if seen, approach with caution. Officials did not mention any incident involving a firearm when Powell was found.
Officers had checked with family, friends, neighbors and area hospitals before turning to the public for assistance finding Powell.
