AKRON -- A 51-year-old woman has pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter connected to the death of her live-in boyfriend.
The Summit County Prosecutor's Office says Sharon Hall shot 55-year-old James Cody multiple times in their Gregory Drive home on July 12, 2012.
Cody was dead when first-responders arrived.
Hall's involuntary manslaughter charge is a first-degree felony with a gun specification.
She will be sentenced on March 26 at 1:30 p.m. in Judge Judy Hunter's court. She faces six-14 years in prison -- all of which is mandatory time, meaning she can't apply for early release.
