WESTLAKE -- Just before 9 p.m. Monday, police say that a North Ridgeville man, 19, reported that he had been robbed an hour earlier in a public parking garage on Vine Street.

Further investigation revealed that he had met an acquaintance there to buy marijuana and that acquaintance -- Joseph Polomsky, 19, of Westlake -- produced a handgun and and robbed him of cash.

The gun was later found to be a BB gun.

Police say Polomsky was accompanied by a 17-year-old Westlake boy, as well as Darren Viets, 20, and Zachary Trigalet, 19, both of Westlake.

All of the suspects were arrested later that evening at their own or other residences in Westlake. Some of the cash was recovered, as was the BB gun, police said.

The juvenile has been transferred to the County Detention Home. The adult suspects were transferred to the Cuyahoga County Jail Tuesday.

All suspects face charges of robbery and possession of criminal tools.
