STRONGSVILLE -- Anger and frustration are growing in the City of Strongsville as a teachers strike goes on another day.

The teachers' union is calling for new contract talks and the superintendent say he wants a quick resolution. Both sides appear to want to talk again but no negotiations are scheduled.

By all accounts, today was calmer inside the district's schools with more substitute teachers showing up and more students staying home.

More than 380 members of the teachers' union went on strike March 4 after rejecting the what the Strongsville School Board called its last, best offer. The strike came after seven months of negotiations.

The district has approximately 6,200 students.
