INDEPENDENCE -- The President of the Strongsville Education Association has filed a police report in Independence after she says she was followed home from a session at the federal mediator's office.

Tracy Linscott told police she was attending a meeting March 6 at the federal mediator's office on Oaktree Boulevard when an older man tried to follow her home from the parking lot.

With the help of a colleague, Linscott says she was able to lose the man before arriving at her home.

She told police the same man was spotted in the parking lot following Monday's meeting as well but the man did not follow her on that date.

Linscott says she is concerned that media attention to the strike has created a situation where she is being followed and is asking for special attention to her home.

The Strongsville teachers are in the second week of a strike.
